My focus is in three areas of South Carolina, due to their proximity to Charlotte, in York County, the towns of Fort Mill and Tega Cay and in Lancaster County, the town of Indian Land.  Rock Hill is a little further South but in York County.  SC real estate and homes for sale.

York County

The Town of Fort Mill is located just south of the South Carolina state line shared with North Carolina. Fort Mill is just north of Rock Hill, SC, and south of Charlotte. Approximately 9400 people live inside the Town’s corporate limits with a total of nearly 35,000 people residing within the entire Township.  Fort Mill is well known for their excellent school system.  Baxter Village, Springfield, Eppington South and Massey are a few of the neighborhoods in Fort Mill.  Click on the names of the neighborhoods to see all currently active homes.

The City of Tega Cay is located in northern York County, South Carolina, along the shores of Lake Wylie and the Catawba River. In 1970 the Ervin Company broke ground on 1,600 wooded acres of land on Lake Wylie previously owned by Duke Power Company. They named the area Tega Cay, which means “beautiful peninsula” in Polynesian. Tega Cay is growing in population and size. The city has annexed several parcels of land recently and new home developments are under construction or are in the planning stages.  Lake Shore is a popular development in Tega Cay.  Tega Cay residents are zoned for the Fort Mill Schools. 

Fort Mill elementary schools are Doby’s Bridge, Fort Mill, Gold Hill, Orchard Park, Pleasant Knoll, Riverview, Springfield, Sugar Creek and Tega Cay.

Fort Mill middle schools are Banks Trail, Fort Mill, Gold Hill< Pleasant Knoll and Springfield.

Fort Mill high schools are Fort Mill and Nation Ford.

Lancaster County

Indian Land is an unincorporated community in the northern neck of Lancaster County, South Carolina, United States. It lies just south of Ballantyne in southern Charlotte, east of Fort Mill, and west of Waxhaw. Some popular neighborhoods in Indian Land are BridgeMill, Walnut Creek,  Barber Rock and Sun City Carolina Lakes. Click on the names of the neighborhoods to see all currently active homes.

Indian Land elementary schools are Harrisburg, Van Wyck (new fall 2018) and Indian Land.

Indian Land middle school is Indian Land.
